THE FASTEST GROWING SPORT IN AMERICA

Why Girls Lacrosse?

Why Now?

Girls lacrosse isn't just growing — it's exploding. Participation among girls ages 10–14 has surged dramatically since 2000, NCAA women's programs have nearly doubled to over 500 schools, and lacrosse will return to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028 — featuring women's competition for the first time in history. Right here in Tennessee, TSSAA unanimously sanctioned girls lacrosse as an official high school championship sport starting in the 2024–25 school year. The pathway from youth player to high school starter to college scholarship has never been clearer. Your daughter's opportunity is now.
OLYMPIC BOUND - LA 2028

For the first time ever, women's lacrosse will be an Olympic medal sport at the 2028 Los Angeles Games. The fast-paced "sixes" format is designed for the next generation of athletes. Today's youth players could be tomorrow's Olympians.

College Opportunities Are Expanding

University lacrosse scholarships have grown significantly over the past decade, with over 500 NCAA women's programs now competing across all three divisions. Schools like USC, Oregon, and Florida have launched programs — and new programs are being announced every year. Early development gives your daughter a competitive edge.

Confidence & Character

Lacrosse builds more than athletic skill — it forges leadership, resilience, and unshakeable confidence. Every ground ball teaches grit. Every assist teaches selflessness. In Crawdette Lacrosse, your daughter doesn't just become a better player. She becomes a Champion of Character.

Tennessee Is Ready

With TSSAA officially sanctioning girls lacrosse, high school programs across the state are building fast. Nolensville is at the center of that growth. Starting early with the Crawdettes means your daughter arrives at the high school level fundamentally sound, tactically aware, and field-tested.

HANNAH BROWN

Head Coach — Crawdette Lacrosse

Coach Hannah discovered lacrosse after moving to Upstate New York in 5th grade—and it quickly became a lifelong passion. After playing throughout high school, she continued her athletic career running cross country and track at Onondaga Community College.

She later earned her degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 2023 and now calls Middle Tennessee home. With a deep love for the game and a strong commitment to youth development, Coach Hannah is dedicated to mentoring young athletes and growing girls lacrosse across the region.

Her coaching philosophy centers on building confidence, teamwork, and a strong work ethic—on and off the field.

Registered Players 2024–25 Season

In just our second year, the Crawdettes have built real momentum. Twenty registered players took the field in the 2024–25 season — and that number is only growing. As girls lacrosse continues to expand across Tennessee and the nation, the Crawdettes are positioning Nolensville at the forefront of that wave. This isn't just a team. It's a movement. And we're just getting started.
